The Constitution’s Promise: Out of Many, One
Join The Rendell Center, ABOTA, and The Pennsylvania Bar Association for the 2025 Law Day Read Aloud Celebration. Our three books are:
Turning Pages by Sonia Sotomayor
NoodlePhant by Jacob Kramer and K-Fai Steele
Democracy! by Philip Bunting
What to Expect:
- Our team of volunteer lawyers and will join classrooms virtually to read aloud specially select books that explore themes related to law, justice and civic responsibility.
- The sessions last 30-45 minutes and are ideal for grades 2-5.
- Following each reading, students will have the opportunity to participate in lively discussions, sharing their thoughts, questions and insights.
Benefits for Students:
- Explores legal concepts in a fun and educational way.
- Celebrates the Constitution and the Rule of Law.
- Promotes interest in the law to young people.
- Develops critical thinking by encouraging students to think critically about the principles of justice and fairness and the rule of law.
- Promotes Literacy by cultivating a love for reading and learning through engaging storytelling.
